There was a backstage promo with John Morrison asking Teddy Long for an opponent on tonight's show. Vickie Guerrero and Eric Escobar interrupted. Vickie wanted Escobar to have a title shot. Long agreed to book the match. He said it was Escobar's only shot at the Intercontinental Title.
Backstage, Josh Matthews asked Mickie James what her feelings are regarding Michelle McCool and Layla's attacks on her over the last couple weeks. Mickie said she's not leaving. She said she worked hard and won't leave Smackdown because juvenile pranks don't bother her.
John Morrison defeated Eric Escobar to retain the Intercontinental Title. Morrison won with Starship Pain. Quick match. Afterward, Vickie screamed at Escobar and said they were finished. She left the ring to a bunch of boos.
Backstage, Eric Escobar met up with Vickie Guerrero. He told her that she's disgusting and broke up with her. She was steaming.

Forget everything you learned about Thanksgiving in elementary school. On Raw, the Pilgrims and Native Americans didn’t sit down to a fall feast. Instead, they dressed in sexy outfits and tried to tear each other apart in a Thanksgiving Mayflower Melee Match. Clad in Native American apparel, Divas Champion Melina, Mickie James & Kelly Kelly fought Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, Layla & Jillian. To complete the Thanksgiving theme, the Goobledy Gooker even served as timekeeper.
Once the match got underway, Team Native American was able to best Team Pilgrim when Melina managed to pin Jillian. Always eager to speak with Divas, Jerry “The King” Lawler entered the ring for an interview with the beautiful Latina. And that’s when things took a turn for the weird. WASHINGTON D.C. – Mickie James, on one hand, escaped the Verizon Center a searing survivor. The smart, sexy and powerful Diva, on the other hand, left yearning for further retribution.
Captain James, along with her partner and Divas Champion Melina, prevailed in Sunday’s Divas Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match despite Beth Phoenix not accepting her elimination. The Glamazon assaulted Mickie before the official finally forced her to exit.
In the preceding weeks, Beth, along with Layla and team captain and Women’s Champion Michelle McCool, affronted James with vicious insults. The devious trio, in fact, labeled her a “pig,” causing the former four-time Women’s Champ to cry on SmackDown.
Despite it being a bittersweet triumph for the two awesome in-ring performers, Mickie and The Red Carpet Diva demonstrated why they are each top-ranked Divas.
Melina, for one, showed how versatile she can be when she pulled off an incredibly acrobatic sunset flip on Michelle to conclude the match. Mickie, meanwhile, can certainly expect a crack at the Women’s Title at some point soon after her impressive performance, which included eliminating Beth and Alicia.
The two dazzling Divas, nevertheless, will likely employ action against their bullies in the upcoming weeks to get some extra desired revenge.

As seen Friday night on SmackDown, Mickie James was introduced to Michelle McCool's personalized version of "Old McDonald," a video designed to degrade the curvaceous SmackDown Diva with its starring character "PiggyJames." For those wondering, the segment was indeed designed to send a message to the multi-time women's champion.
WWE brass aren't happy with James venturing outside of the company for her country music aspirations as they believe she's heading down the same path as the likes of Dwayne "The Rock" and Stacy Keibler, who let their outside endeavours overtake their commitments to the company.
Additionally, company officials have not been pleased with James' weight in recent months, which was another reason for the degrading segment.

Michelle McCool recently sat down with her official website to discuss her 5 Year Anniversary as a WWE Diva. Michelle had the following to say about progressing in the business: -
Whether you came through the diva search, tough enough, your family was in the business before you or someone just “discovered” you, there will always be naysayers. With that being said, I do believe I paid some dues. When you are a part of DSW, believe me, you pay dues. Things have changed dramatically in the short 5 years that I have been here. For the first couple years, I was on the road training and doing shows and then going back to DSW training and doing shows.
I’m not exactly sure what someone’s definition of “paying your dues” are, but if it includes busting your butt day in and day out, never giving up, turning negatives into positive, picking brains to learn the art, being frustrated to the point of tears, etc…. then yes, I’ve paid SOME dues and there is nothing I would change about any of it.

Divas Champion Melina def. Alicia Fox in a Lumberjill Match
Judah Friedlander never had it so good. The 30 Rock actor and comedian was honored as special guest ring announcer for the match between Divas Champion Melina and Alicia Fox. Friedlander announced that the bout would be a Divas Championship Lumberjill Match then happily looked on from ringside.
While Fox has showcased amazing resilience in recent weeks, Melina’s gutsy performance proved too much as the Latina lovely retained the golden butterfly. Apparently, a few of the Divas disapproved and the entire ring was covered with sexy, smart and powerful women clashing with one another.
